Green Flag Award 2026/2027
The Friends Committee and Trustees were very proud to learn that Ashton Park has again been awarded the Green Flag for another year.
This years award was particularly rewarding following the huge efforts of our Park Ranger, Park Gardeners and the Friends Volunteers to clean up and restore the park to its former state after the devastation and mass fly tipping caused by a recent traveller group.
Thank you from the Friends committee to everyone that played a part in the big clean up, the Parks Department Staff and to our amazing Friends Volunteers for all the hard work you put in throughout the year.
